Hospice of Mother Tara is affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the

Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), a global network of Buddhist Centres established by the late

Lama Thubten Yeshe for the purpose of preserving and making available the

Tibetan Buddhist teachings of compassion and wisdom.

We offer a program of teachings, retreats, meditation
and relaxation with an emphasis on personal healing

Based on the principles of love and compassion, Hospice of Mother Tara exists
to provide on-going support for the practice of Buddhist Teachings and to
assist those who are experiencing pain or illness by providing
holistic care and an atmosphere of calm.

We aim to promote the principles of mindfulness, compassion,
non-violence and ethical conduct in the community at large

Practice with the bodhisattva attitude every day. People can't see your mind; what people see is a manifestation of your attitude in your actions of body and speech. So pay attention to your attitude all the time. Guard it as if you are the police, or like a parent cares for a child, like a bodyguard, or as if you are the guru and your mind is your disciple.
